Like a Scholastic book fair, but gay. And in a bar.

Book lovers, come by The Bush for a book fair stacked with books by queer and trans authors. Fiction, theory, romance, sci fi, memoir, classics, we’ll have a hand-picked, curated selection that covers a little bit of everything. Need a recommendation of what to read next? Just ask. We’ll have some gay bookish stickers and pins in the mix, too.

We’ll be taking donations for the mutual aid initiative Nonbinarian Book Bike at this event. Bring the queer books taking up space on your shelf, drop them off with us for Nonbinarian, and then find your next favorite book to take home. Everyone who donates a book to the Nonbinarian will get a free limited edition Hive Mind Books postcard at the Book Fair.

On top of that, for those in the know, this is also Independent Bookstore Day, when readers nationwide head out to their bookstores and show their support.
